“Each year, at the NASAR conference, we pay tribute to some of the world's finest search and rescue professionals. We will continue that tradition at our SAR 2004 event,” the National Association for Search and Rescue (US) told air-rescuetek. The NASAR Board of Directors is now accepting applications and nominations for its awards. Eligible recipients for the NASAR Awards Program include SAR teams, government organisations, individuals and youth. Awards are given for volunteer service, valor, professional/technical contributions to the field, etc. Submissions must be received by 13 February 2004.
