Wales Air Ambulance (in the UK) is appealing to Carmathenshire residents to become volunteers for the life-saving service.

The service provides rapid paramedic response through its two air ambulances and, since its launch in March 2001, has carried out almost 2000 missions from its bases in Swansea and Caernafon. “We need to raise £1.5 million each year and every little helps,” it confirmed.

The Appeal Office can be contacted on +44 (0)1792 552999.
