Air Methods Corporation has confirmed that its Air Medical Services Division has secured an additional hospital-based contract in Florida, USA. Air Methods has been selected to provide air medical transportation services to Baptist Health South Florida in Miami, FL. Under this new agreement, which commenced on 1 March 2004, Air Methods will operate a Bell 430 helicopter. Baptist Health has been providing air medical transportation services to South Florida since 1995. Neil Hughes, senior vice president of Air Medical Services, said, "We are excited and extremely pleased with the new partnership opportunity with Baptist Health.
