Essex Air Ambulance’s (UK) Flight for Life Lottery has over 18,000 members and has, to date, raised more than £2.2 million for the charity since January 1998.
“Over 6,000 people from all over Essex have been lottery winners and over £433,000 has been paid out in prize money,” said the Service. “Income from the Essex Flight for Life lottery amounts for over 40% of the income received by the charity.”
Prizes include a Formula One day experience, a family trip to Disneyland Paris, a pleasure flight over London, a Savoy theatre break and a champagne balloon flight for two.
