The launch of a new exhibition in Dubai for 2004, addressing helicopter operations and technology, has been announced by MEDIAC Communications and Exhibitions LLC.
Dubai Helishow 2004 (6-9 December 2004 at Dubai Airport Expo) is being held, says MEDIAC’s managing director (Abdulla A. Abulhoul), ‘under the patronage of HH General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoun, Crown Prince of Dubai and the Defence Minister of the United Arab Emirates’. It is also supported, says Abulhoul, by the United Arab Emirates Air Force, the government of Dubai, the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Department of Civil Aviation Dubai.
“The Middle East offers enormous potential for defence and civil markets,” continued Abulhoul. “This includes military upgrades, transport and utility helicopters, SAR, firefighting, offshore oil support, EMS, newsgathering, agriculture and aerial inspection.”
